Besides than the Nyonya’s cuisine, the Nyonya Kuih was also the must eat in Malacca.
What is kuih? Kuih can be called as cakes, biscuit, or pastries in English, and it is a bite-sized snack that can be found in Malaysia. Their kuih such as Apom, Kuih Dadar, Kuih Lapis, Ondeh Ondeh, Kuih Koci and many more. The recommendation stall to taste the most traditional and original Nyonya kuih was located at Hilir Garden Ice Cafe which used to tend by an old granny but now her daughter is taking over it. The average prices of their Nyonya Kuih are from RM0.50 to RM0.70 per kuih. It is quite a reasonable price and totally matches with our “budget” concept.
